Best Event Photograph!

On July Third I performed at the Great Lakes Military base just outside of Chicago for their 4th of July celebration. They submitted one of the photographs from the show to the IFEA and the Pinnacle Awards and the photo won a silver! Attached is the picture that was submitted for the award. Photos were submitted in various categories for the International Festival and Events Association Pinnacle Awards. This is an organization that recognizes events around the world and works together to promote our industry. There are various budget categories for events, and this one fell into the “Under $250,000″ category. Other events that are a part of this organization include the Kentucky Derby, The Indianapolis 500, and the Rose Bowl Parade! So you can imagine how big of a deal that this was that this photo placed 2nd! I am super happy to have had this opportunity and I would like to thank the base again for having me out!
