After the Fort Meade show we left Maryland and headed straight to Los Angeles for the RedBull Soap Box Derby. The drive came in just shy of 47 hours so we were very excited when we got to our hotel room to relax for a couple hours. We headed to the track right away in the morning and made the climb to the starting line! The course was so steep! I couldn’t believe that some of the derby cars were going to be hitting upwards of 50 mph! I started the event off by performing a quick show before the racers took to the course! The crowd was crazy and it was actually the largest stand alone event in Los Angeles history! They said 115,000 people were on hand for the races! The racing was awesome! I couldn’t believe how much work the competitors had done preparing their cars and their skits! The was also a couple awesome crashes through out the day as well! We had such a good time and I really hope that I can come back next year again and ride!!
