XDL INDY!

The stage was set for the XDL finals in Downtown Indianapolis. For the fourth year in a row XDL ran on Friday and the GP was held on Sunday. This year the AMA Flat Track race was cancelled because of the incidents at the Indianapolis Fairgrounds. For the second year in a row the weather was beautiful for the 2 day XDL event. Friday night started off great for me as I took 2nd place in the Wheelie Teach Wheelie Race.. The rest of the weekend didn’t go quite as well as I took myself out in the Racing 905 Speed and Style event. I was really hoping to take my 4th victory in that event but it wasn’t meant to be! I rode well in Individual Freestyle but wasn’t able to ride the third round due to an ankle injury. I went to the hospital and had my ankle looked at thank fully nothing showed up on the X rays. Overall it was a good weekend and I had a great time. It is sad that the season is over for XDL but I can’t wait for next year! Bring on 2012 in Daytona!
