RedBull Night Tracks filming in DT Chicago

October 10th to the 12th I had the opportunity to work with Vurb Moto crew in downtown Chicago for a RedBull video project called RedBull Night Tracks. Vurb Moto is mostly known for all of their dirtbike films and coverage. For guys that weren’t very familiar with the Street Freestyle scene they were super easy to work with and we were able to really pull down some really sick shots. I don’t want to give too much away before the video launches, but there are a couple of links below that you can check out that talk about the shoot! I also did a segment on the local news station for WCIU the U. The interview was a blast and I had a great time waking up Chicago at 7am!

RedBull Military Tour Fort Leonard Wood

The beginning of October I headed to Fort Leonard Wood to do a make up show. We had been rained out several weeks before and had the opportunity to have a rain date planned. When I got into town the weather was completely opposite of our rained out date! Since we had missed our first date due to rain, the base was able to continue to promote the show bringing in lots of people to hang out and watch the demo! I rode two demos through out the day to a packed house. The fans were great and hung out after the show to sign autographs and ask questions! This was defiantly one of the best shows on base this year!

RedBull Military Tour Fort Cambell

This round of the RedBull Military Tour took us to Fort Cambell in Kentucky. The sun was shining and the weather looked great as I prepared for two shows during the late morning and afternoon. Not only was I going to be performing shows through out the day but the base also had special guest Cesar Millan the Dog Whisper in attendance. The Soldiers and their families lined up around the barricades and were one of the best crowds I had all weekend! The best part was that almost everyone stayed afterwards and I was able to meet a lot of my fans and take a lot of pictures. The military tour this year is all about giving back and events like this one really make it all worthwhile. I really want to say thank you again to RedBull and all of the bases for bringing me out and giving me the opportunity to entertain and meet the worlds finest troops.

Mexican Independence Day Parade

Saturday Sept 10th I had the honor of opening up the Mexican Independence Day parade in East LA. The streets were packed along the two mile parade route with people! My show was broadcast live ABC channel 7 in the LA area! The parade was a blast and ABC has a link on their page that I embedded here!

Chaparral Bike Night!

I would like to thank Jim from Tucker Rocky for bring me out to the last bike night of the season at Chaparral bike night! Speed and Strength set up a big booth giving me some shade to keep out of the sun and be able to sign autographs for all my fans that were in attendance! The crowd was great for my shows and I really look forward to doing more events in the future with Tucker Rocky and Speed and Strength. I also want to say thank you to all of the people that came out and supported me!

Stockton Supermoto with BF30 and EM21

After I left Sacramento I headed down to Stockton to meet up with professional road racer Bobby Fong. When the flat track plans fell through we headed over to Stockton Motorsports Complex to ride some Supermoto. It has been a while since I had ridden supermoto but it only took a couple of laps before it was all back. We also ran into AMA Supersport Racer Elena Myers who was out turning laps on her new RMZ 250. I had a good time racing with both of them and look forward to getting back in this area to do some more supermoto!

A weekend of Dirt!

With the weekend off from freestyle I headed to the Sacramento, CA area for a weekend of cross training on the Flat Tracker. We loaded up the van and headed out Friday morning to make it to Lodi, CA. Lodi was holding a money race the night before the event drawing most of the national riders to the event. It was the first time I had ridden a blue groove track and it was quite the learning curve! I made it to the night show and kept picking up speed as the night progressed. Saturday morning we rolled into Sacramento for the return of the Sacramento Mile at the California State Fair. This was to be my first mile and I was really excited to get out on the track and test out my new bike built by Southland Racing. The bike was a screamer! I made it to the night show for the second night in a row and was able to put down some fast lap times! It was a sold out crowd with over 7,000 people in attendance. They were really excited to bring AMA GNC Flat Track back to Sacramento!

RedBull Military Tour JBLM

On the way out to Seattle we didn’t realize how epic of a weekend we were in store for. Along with the Seattle Sounders Soccer game and show and skydiving with the RedBull AirForce we performed a show at the Joint Base Lewis McChord. They were holding a singles day where all of the single soldiers on base were invited to come out and take part in different activities. There were car shows, basketball tournaments, my RedBull demos and even a strongman competition! The crowds were super pumped and the rain didn’t faze any of the soldiers as they stuck around all day for the events! Here are a couple of pictures from my show from Army Photographer James Hale. Big thanks to him and all of the soldiers that made this show possible!

Laguna Seca MotoGP!

So not only did I compete in Monterey XDL I also did a on track demo before the MotoGP race. I love riding at the MotoGP races, the crowds are very receptive and always make a lot of noise! This year was no different! I made one lap around the track doing four mini shows about 5 mns in length! I even wheelied all the way up the corkscrew! Thanks again to RedBull for bringing me out for this performance!
